Destiny 2 August Roadmap Uncovered, Guns Slot Changes Before Leaving DLC

Bungie has revealed the upcoming roadmap of changes that will arrive in Destiny 2 in the next two months. There are brand new features for August, and more come alongside the paid Forsaken DLC extension.

You can see the full list of changes that Bungie will introduce below on Destiny 2. There are changes that have already been implemented in June and July, but also some important changes that will take place in August and September.

In other words, weapon exchanges will be available to all Destiny 2 players next month in August. Bungie originally revealed that they would scrap kinetics, energy and power-energy slots as part of the Forsaken DLC released in September, but it appears that these changes will start outside the DLC in August.

Starting Aug. 28, you can use your weapons in Destiny 2, whether it's a Force, Energy, or Kinetic weapon. Heroic story missions will also be released in the August update for Destiny 2, as will the 200 additional vault slots.

The Abandoned DLC will launch in September, but there will also be three new Crucible maps, a new Crucible map mode, power benefits in both Iron Banner and Trials of the Nine, and many more outside of paid changes DLCs.
