For nearly two months, a single weapon cursed Destiny 2 Player in the Crucible: the shotgun of the Lord of the Wolves. With the Solstice of Heroes holiday patch next week, Bungie will finally deliver a fix for Lord of Wolves in PvP.
Bungies Nerf vs. Lord of Wolves backfired at the beginning of the season, and although the studio was successful in most activities, it dominated the multiplayer mode of the game.
Bungie acknowledged that the weapon was a problem last month, but claimed that it could only be repaired later in the season to prevent a crunch. As a reward for the players' patience, Bungie offers an exclusive emblem to commemorate the season in which Lord of Wolves broke the crucible.
In the patch next week, Bungie lowers the strength of Lord of Wolves at a distance. Shotgun Scavenger Armor bonuses also give Lord of Wolves reduced ammo. While Bungie reduces the range of Lord of Wolves in each state, the fall is more dramatic if the weapon activates the Perk "Release the Wolves", doubling the number of shots fired.
In order to receive the emblem unleashed by the Wolves (see illustration above), players must have completed an Iron Banner match during the season of opulence. It was active between the 18th and the 25th of June and is active again from Tuesday, July 23rd to the day the patch is released on July 30th. Eligible players will receive a new triumph next week, which also unlocks the emblem.
Old School Destiny 2 Players will remember when the Exotic Trace rifle Prometheus Lens has dealt more damage to the players than intended as ] Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris first published – a similar situation now Lord of Wolves. At the beginning of December 2017, Prometheus Lens made the melting pot almost unplayable for Bungie in the so-called "Laser Tag Weekend". Players playing this weekend will receive the Prismatic Inferno emblem (see picture above).

Bungie explained that while it is never intended that such mistakes will hit the game, sometimes it can be exciting for players. With these emblems, players can remember the good times they had and state they were there while the Crucible was terribly destroyed.
Beyond Lord of Wolves, Bungie changes in Destiny [19659014einigeandereDinge] 2 on July 30th. Tribute Hall tributes will be easier to get and Bungie will make it easier to complete the Iron Banner. Players who complete the heroic menagerie receive a sword for the first time.
