On Tuesday night, the whole country regained the spirit of Detroit!

The Detroit Youth Choir performed in the live semi-final of "America's Got Talent," and we put the weight of the transmitter behind it to our viewers and ALL from Metro Detroit motivate to tune for these local students singers.
It all started this summer when the host of "America's Got Talent" and the native Flint, Terry Crews, sent the choir to the live shows. This golden buzzer has sparked millions of applause, tears and "stock" ̵
The choir then rocked the house again in the quarterfinals and booked a place in the semifinals!
Kimberly Gill of Local 4 is in Los Angeles with the choir and will be reporting live on Local 4 News!
Members of the Detroit Youth Choir are 8 to 18 years old and practice four nights a week, four to five hours each.
"The Detroit Youth Choir is a community-based choir, we have a lot of kids in the city center, some of them have bad home situations or they can be in the street, there is violence, we give them something positive to come and be Part of, "said Anthony T. White, choirmaster. "We can take this little talent and pour some water on it and grow it."
The semifinals with the Detroit Youth Choir will air on Tuesday at 8pm. The vote runs until Wednesday at 7 o'clock in the morning.
