Spoiler for Arrested Development Season 5 Part 1 ahead. Anyone watching Arrested Development knows that Buster (Tony Hale) can easily become hysterical – especially if he gets himself a juice. But in the fifth season of the show, which hit Netflix on Tuesday, May 29, the youngest bluth seems a bit over the top. Lucille Austero (Liza Minnelli) is missing in Arrested Development Season 5, and her former character from Paramour / Son seems incredibly suspicious. But wait, has Buster killed Lucille 2?
The fact that Lucille 2, the majority shareholder of the Austero Bluth Company, has not been seen in season 5, is definitely a shadow. However, viewers see Michael talking to her (maybe?), And whenever a character asks where Lucille is 2, the entire Bluth family behaves suspiciously. Luckily, in episode 8, viewers find that Buster's mother visits him in jail, that Lucille 2 is okay, but "can not come back now." Buster asks, "Do you know where she is?" And Lucille replies, "I know who she is with ! And that's all I can say."
Does that mean the Bluths are hiding Lucille 2 somewhere so they can regain control of the company? If so, obviously Buster did not know about it before. "Did you tell them you fainted Lucille 2 in the stairwell?" Michael asks an arrested buster. "I think I said 'dead'," Buster replies. "No, maybe they said 'dead' and I said 'I wish'." "Why did you do that?" Michael asks. Buster replies, "I thought it was funny."
In fact, Buster seemed to be definitely guilty at the end of Season 4. As the spectators will remember, he was caught in front of the camera by Cinco de during the night. Cuatro stood over Lucille's seemingly lifeless body lying on the staircase. "I'm in the movie," he whispered as he stared at the surveillance camera. However, Buster tried to fix the problem by borrowing George Michaels fake block software (which was really just his woodblock app) and erasing the footage from the system. But Buster was soon taken away by the rhythm of the woodblock, which he supposed worked the fake block software. (19659006) Giphy
That same night Buster also beat Herbert Love (Terry Crews) with his monster hand. At the start of the season, the audience also saw how he killed himself, smashed remote controls, and ruined USB drives. While fans know that Sweet Buster would not hurt anyone on purpose, it's not impossible that he accidentally killed Lucille 2. And with her severe dizziness she could have lost her balance and dropped down the stairs. 19659002] But Buster is still an innocent, unsuspecting man, and it's hard to imagine he's a killer. When he found out that the drones he was flying in Season 4 were real, he panicked and said, "You mean I've hurt guilty people ?!" And when the army blackmailed him, either to crush a kitten or to reveal that he had lied to her, it was obvious that Buster had gained better control of his hand.
But he does not exactly do any favors in season 5 when the police question him about Lucille Austero. For one, he renounces his lawyer because he thinks Michael (Jason Bateman) wants him to do so. And when they show him the above-mentioned security shots, he says, "OK, that's definitely me, I'm just surprised to see it because I'm pretty sure I deleted that video." * Narrator voice * He did not
Not to mention that Buster and Lucille 2 were last seen arguing with Cinco de Cuatro after discovering that she had made him approach his mother's trial miss. However, Lucille 2 also had several other run-ins in Cinco that night, including George Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor), arguing with them about the wall Herbert Love plans to build. When George Sr. Lucille said she could not mention the wall in her speech, she said, "You can not stop me, now I have a stairwell to wave from." Huh, so she landed on the stairs. Also did he stop them? After all, she never gave her speech.
Lucille 2 also met Tobias (David Cross) that night and promptly released him from her hospital. She also saw Michael, who wanted to seduce her to forgive his considerable debts. However, Gob (Will Arnett) gave him a forget-me-not, which meant that Michael could not remember their encounter.
So while nothing definitive about the location of Lucille 2 has yet become known, Buster seems to be clueless about it. And at least now viewers can be sure that their beloved monster is not a murderer. As Lucille 2 said to Buster at Cinco de Cuatro, "I never knew you wanted to hurt anyone." And she was right.
Editor's note: Season 5 is controversial because of the presence of Jeffrey Tambor, who was fired by Transparent after being accused of two co-stars of sexual harassment denies these claims); he also admitted and apologized for verbally harassing Jessica Walter on the Arrested Development which is set in a recent New York Times play. Co-stars Jason Bateman, David Cross, Will Arnett and Tony Hale have been criticized for defending Tambor and minimizing Walter's experience in the same interview. Bateman, Cross and Hale have since apologized.
