Xiaomi unveiled the world's best Android-based iPhone X clone on Thursday. The Mi 8 Explorer Edition is the most expensive version of the Mi 8 family and the only Android phone in the world that just like the iPhone X has a notch, complete with cameras that provide 3D face recognition.
The phone has other unique features, including an in-display fingerprint sensor that is also pressure-sensitive, a dual-band GPS system, and a transparent glass back panel designed to show the phone's internal components. The latter is just a marketing ploy, albeit a hot topic if you ask me. But it turns out that everything can be fake.
As discovered by Twitter user Chengming Alpert, the glass rear of the Mi 8 Explorer Edition may show a sticker instead of the actual components.
