Blizzard has released a statement to let the fans know that they can not expect a big announcement from Diablo at BlizzCon in November. Blizzard wrote on their website that they are aware of the "rumors surrounding Blizzard's plans for Diablo flying around BlizzCon," but a new game announcement might not be there. The studio once again confirmed that it is working on several different new Diablo projects, but in the typical Blizzard form, the developer said it would only then speak "the time is right".
"We know what many of you know We hope and all we can say is that 'good things come to those who wait', but bad things often take longer," Blizzard said. "We appreciate your patience as our teams work tirelessly to create nightmarish experiences worthy of the Lord of Terror."
There will be some "Diablo-related news" on BlizzCon, but it will not be a new game. Blizzard is holding a panel called "Diablo: What's Next," and here Blizzard apparently publishes all announcements about Diablo he's planned.
Something new called Diablo: Reign of Terror was recently leaked by the official Blizzard-Ware store. We still do not know what it is, but it could be one of Blizzard's announcements at BlizzCon. A new Diablo TV show for Netflix is reportedly under development, and if an announcement comes soon, BlizzCon may be the place to finally unveil it.
What we absolutely know is Diablo III launches for Nintendo Switch on November 2nd, the first day of BlizzCon. What kind of announcements about Diablo do you hope for at BlizzCon? Let us know in the comments!
