0, version 1903, and since its release Microsoft has warned that "on a computer with an internal speaker installed," there may be problems. In a support article, the company explains three major issues that may arise:

  • A Bluetooth speaker can not connect to the computer.
  • A Bluetooth speaker can connect to the computer. However, the speaker output sounds loud (poor quality).
  • A Bluetooth speaker can connect to the computer. However, the sound is generated by the internal speaker instead of the Bluetooth device.

Additionally, Microsoft states that "In Device Manager, an entry under the Audio, Video, and Game Controllers node for Microsoft Bluetooth A2dp Source displays a yellow icon (exclamation point)."

To work around this issue, first use the System File Checker:

1. Open the command console with administrator rights.

. 2 At the command prompt, type the following command and press Enter:

sfc / scannow

Note It may take a few minutes until command operation must be completed.

. 3 Restart the computer after completing the operation.
