Marvel fans were shocked to discover earlier this week that a scheduled Deadpool animation series was being developed for Donald by FX Many were stopped rumors about the possible reason for the abandonment of the project. Glover himself has shared a number of tweets with the pages of his script on social media, but at the time of writing he has deleted all Deadpool related tweets from his page.
The Only Tweet There remains a connection to the Performer's PHAROS project, which features a series of live performances in an immersive experience that will take place in New Zealand.
Glover has a complicated relationship with social media that regularly disables him / reactivates his account and changing his username. Leaving a single tweet is not at all funny to Glover, though we wonder if he deleted his Deadpool tweets on his own or if the fan's interest in his script caused the project
The series of tweets began with the entry of Glover: "For the record: I was not too busy to work on Deadpool", followed page by page with screenshots of his script.
The storyline was reportedly the season finale, where Deadpool in Africa tried to save the last white rhino. As you can imagine from any of Deadpool's adventures, he insults and ridicules each and every one of his cohorts on the mission. In the classic Deadpool fashion, the story even became self-referential, with the character talking to the rhino and wondering why the show was canceled after just one season.
Unfortunately, this prophecy does not seem to be fulfilled, as even a season looks unlikely.
According to Stephen Glover, Donald's brother and writing partner, one episode that included Taylor Swift was the "last straw" for her ambitious series.
Fans of Deadpool and Glover should not worry, there's a lot more of both on the horizon. Deadpool 2 starring Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin will hit theaters on May 1
Glover, on the other hand, currently plays in his award-winning television series Atlanta on FX and may be referred to as Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story on May 25 in the Cinemas land. Do you think deleting tweets means hope for Deadpool still exists? Let us know in the comments below!
