MADISON, Wisconsin – Star recipient Donovan Peoples-Jones of Michigan is uniformed and warmed up for Saturday's Wisconsin No. 14 match.

Peoples-Jones has not played this season due to an unknown lower body injury. He played Michigan the first two games against Middle Tennessee State and Army. Peoples-Jones was seen wearing a hiking boot before the MTSU game and did not wear the shoe the following week.

Jenny Taft, a side job reporter for Fox, said the prelude "Peoples-Jones will be limited" will be a significant piece of news for Michigan's offenses and special teams. Peoples-Jones led the team at receptions and touchdowns last fall and was a favorite of quarterback Shea Patterson. He was also the team's first returner. So far, the Wolverines have had trouble returning punts without Peoples Jones, with two punts and a lost fool.

Jamie: Pressure on Jim Harbaugh and Michigan Football Vs. Wisconsin. Here is the reason why

As reported this week, Michigan has left Jon Runyan Jr. against the Badgers. Runyan missed the first two games with an unknown injury and retired for both games in an emergency. Runyan, who received the first All-Big Ten awards in 2018, is a powerful running blocker and reliable passport cover.

In the meantime, the backup that Tru Wilson ran back was unsuccessful. Wilson suffered an injury at the start and did not play against Army. Defensive duel Michael Dwumfour has gone through the warm-up and seems likely to play.
