Bethesda Softworks today unveiled its plans for 2019 for The Elder Scrolls Online including a new story chapter named Elsweyr part of a four-part story arc that will include Dragon, a premiere for the fantasy online multiplayer game. Many details of the update were already known due to a leak earlier this month.
The story takes place in Elsweyr, hometown of Khajiit cat-people. The new zone is described as "similar in size and scope to last summer's Summerset Zone". About 30 hours of adventure are promised. The update will include a new class, the Necromancer Bethesda says is "dark, mysterious" and able to "command the dead and cast powerful elemental spells."
New Players Can Start Their Elder Scrolls Online Travel with Elsweyr . Bethesda is running a deal where anyone who has purchased the full digital version of the game will have access to the base game ESO including the last two chapters Summerset and Morrowind immediately.
