Drake appears in his lawsuit against the woman he falsely claimed had gotten her pregnant, accused him of rape, and tried to blackmail him … TMZ has learned.
Drake filed a document on Friday warning the court that he and Layla Lace had resolved their lawsuit. According to documents received from TMZ, Layla has agreed that she will not republish her Instagram post on April 1
Layla also went on a SiriusXM show in 2017 to blow up Drake. Later, she went to authorities in New York, claiming that Drake raped her during a one-night stand. Drake says her lawyer demanded money, or they went public with the allegation of rape.
When TMZ reported the first time, Drake prompted her to sue for for extortion, defamation and fraud.
This is now all water under the bridge, assuming Layla sticks to the deal, which further requires that she make no "statements that claim she [Drake] attacked her," made her pregnant and she left … or said something else about him.
You also can not use a third party to do any of the above.
Prominent Advocate Larry Stein repeating the Drake, says TMZ … "The indictment brought by Drake against Layla Lace was dissolved and Layla avoids a lawsuit by agreeing to a judgment that forbids her repeated earlier statements she made against Drake, and Drake and his team are pleased with the result, and although Drake appreciates the support he has received, he asks that his fans and the media allow both parties to die for their lives continue. "
The judge has yet to sign.
