Duane Brown entered the final year of the contract this season.
While the Seahawks are still concerned with the safety of Earl Thomas leaving the training camp in hopes of a new contract or trade, the team decided to lock the man blindly protecting Russell Wilson's quarterback.
Seattle has agreed to a three-year contract extension with left-hand device Duane Brown, Adam Schefter of ESPN.com . According to Schefter, the expansion is worth $ 36.5 million, so the nine-time Pro Bowler, who earned $ 9.75 million this year in the last year of his contract, for $ 46.25 Million Under Contract
Brown began his career with the Texans, who convened him in 2008 with the No. 26 selection. He played in Houston for over nine seasons and earned three Pro Bowl bids and a place on the All-Pro team in 2012.
Last season, Brown held and missed the first six games of the season before the field. He was traded to the Seahawks after playing a game with the Texans in 2017. He was initially sent to Seattle, where defensive Jeremy Lane came to Houston, but Lane failed at his game and the deal had to be adjusted.  Brown, who turns 33 before the start of the season, played nine games for the Seahawks after the trade and claimed his fourth Pro Bowl career. The Titans and Hawks have also extended their contract renewals on Friday.
