Eddie Murphy screamed 35 years ago: "Live from New York, it's Saturday night!" But on December 21st, the comedian will host "Saturday Night Live" again, SNL said on Twitter on Twitter.
The last time Murphy hosted a Series episode in 1984 was the episode of the show's 40th anniversary in 2015, but his brief appearance was not so pleasing to many. Later, he told the Washington Post why he did not imitate any of his former characters, something he did not like to do. Murphy has spoken in the past about Cosby's aversion to him and his comedy, and at that time Cosby fought against sexual assault, for which he was later.
"There's nothing funny about that, if you're up there making jokes about him, you're just hurting people," Murphy told The Washington Post. "You hurt him, you hurt his accusers." I said, "Hey, I'm coming back to SNL for the Anniversary, I'm not making my moment in the series anything else." 19659008] TV & Streaming
