Before you begin to believe that he is a comic book superstar, it should be noted that he wants to destroy Mars to make the ice-cold planet more habitable for humans do. It's an idea he already shared in the Stephen Colbert show.
T-shirts on the way
Always the jester, Musk then tweeted that he would soon be wearing T-shirts with his Mars atom Plan. This drew some attention from the people who developed their own versions of the T-shirts.

He also tweeted a link to his SpaceX website on which the T-shirt was released hours after Announcement is offered for sale. Well, that was fast!
Already in 2017, Musk published an article in the journal New Space in which he discussed how humans could possibly build a colony on Mars in less than a century. SpaceX is now testing a prototype version of its Mars rocket called Starship that could one day bring people to the Red Planet.
But before he can do that Musk has to make sure SpaceX is solvent. The company only had to lay off 10% of its workforce last December.
