Busy Philipps had unexpected difficulties while traveling with her children.
On Friday, the actress, 39, voiced her outrage over social media after finding out that Delta Airlines had canceled a flight and diverted her 9-year-old daughter Birdie Leigh on another plane that had flown to another location ,
"Hey @Delta! Thank you for canceling my flight and then diverting us and separating my MINOR child to a flight other than mine and having a 2 hour call time! are terrible! ", she wrote on Twitter. [PHOTOS]
While answering to a fan, Philip made it clear that she was never really separated from her child because she did not let Birdie fly alone.

The Dawson's Creek Alum went into more detail about the incident on her Instagram story as she started the "very rocky start" to her morning.
Philipps said she "received a text that our other flight was canceled and they had diverted us and taken us to different places on different planes" at 2.30 in the morning Philipps said she was scheduled to go to St. Paul, Minnesota, while "B goes to Detroi t."

In a statement to PEOPLE, a representative of Delta Airlines apologized "for the inconvenience caused by Ms. Philip's," adding that "Delta quickly resolved the rebooking problem and directly coordinated the customer to adjust his journey. "
The spokeswoman also gave additional background information and explained that the problem was happening because Philip's flights were her s child booked under two separate routes, which resulted in the flights being rebooked on alternative routes.
Delta Airlines has also reimbursed the unused portion of Philipp's travel arrangements.
