Every success story has its haters. However, most cinema-goers are amazed at the consistent quality of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Over the course of 11 years, the franchise introduced dozens of characters and eventually brought them together Avengers: Endgame. As epic as the movie is, he still lacks a certain Marvel hero.
‘Avengers: Endgame’ featured almost every MCU hero
After years of building Thanos (Josh Brolin) and the Infinity Stones, this story finally came to the fore Avenger: Infinity War. This 2018 release – along with Avengers: Endgame – was the end of an era for the MCU. And most fans weren’t disappointed with the size of the whole. Neither the studio.
Combined, Avenger: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame earns $ 4.8 billion worldwide. With the universe in balance and multiple heroes finally bowing, the two-piece feels like the story the MCU is working towards. Imagine how much more successful the films would have been if the directors Joe and Anthony Russo had recorded every hero they wanted.

But the directors really would have loved at least one other Marvel icon
Because it ends over a decade of storytelling, Avengers: Endgame focuses heavily on the original six Avengers. But there is also enough narrative space to bring in heroes Protector of the galaxy, Black Panther, Ant man, and Captain Marvel in key roles. Still, co-director Joe Russo revealed the comic film to the one hero he wished he could have brought with him.
I mean, Wolverine has always been one of my favorite characters. Incredible hulk # 181 was one of the first comics I remember when I first appeared on Wolverine. Hugh Jackman has done an incredible job with this character over the years and I think you should take a short break before anyone else takes a break.
Of course, Marvel Studios didn’t have the right to use any of the X-Men characters in Avengers: Endgame. If Disney’s acquisition of Fox had ended earlier, authors Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely might have somehow included Wolverine. After all, they did an introduction to a similar feat with Spider-Mans Captain America: Civil War.

Wolverine and the X-Men will soon join the MCU
Now it’s a very different story. The MCU has the freedom to bring in all of the Marvel characters previously blocked by Fox. This means that Deadpool, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men are on an inevitable collision course with the MCU. The question is when and how the characters will have their long-awaited appearances.
Russo could do something for Wolverine. The popularity of Hugh Jackman’s appearance requires a period of time away from Wolverine. But the MCU has a lot of ways to move forward. In fact, if the franchise wants it, it could even bring Dafne Keen X-23 from Logan into the MCU. For now, fans have to wait and see what Marvel is up to.
