The Bush was the first extraordinary item added to Fortnite's Battle Royale mode. Unfortunately it has no use, and Epic wants to correct that.
Although it is a legendary item, the Bush in Fortnite sees little use. Many players believe that the item should only be diluted and arched in the loot pool.
Luckily, things are looking for Bush. Eric Williamson of Epic Games has responded to a post on FortniteBR suggesting changes that would make it workable.
How does the legendary bush become legendary? by r / FortNiteBR
The user suggests that the Bush should protect players from a single shot before breaking. Eric, who is Design Lead at Fortnite, responded with the following …
We have been looking for ways to potentially improve Bush's effectiveness, an option that has been discussed several times.
In the next step, no adjustments update, but it's something we'll check.
Eric then went into the proposed changes that Epic had reviewed over the months. While no one is carved in stone right now, there are some that would probably be accepted by the community.
There are several ways we could improve it … with multiple fees; or be activated automatically while it is in inventory (such as jetpacks) and can not be fired. Reducing the leaves that block your vision has surfaced several times, as this can be a point of frustration.
What other things could you see?
What do you think of these changes? How would you make Bush a viable prey for players?
