Former assistant co-trainer Zach Smith of Ohio took to Twitter on Wednesday to break his silence since completing university research and said in a series of posts that he believes people in the media, including ESPN , his children have been injured as well as Ohio State football players, staff and fans.
"Silence = over, I tried," Smith said on Twitter. "I can not keep running [clowns in the media] 2 – not only without knowledge, but completely despise my children 4 .Your mother has disrespected much of them 4 in this time 4 u cause all 2 face of damage ur." Smith was fired on July 23 after a judge in Ohio issued a protective order forbidding Smith to walk 500 feet from Courtney Smith, his ex-wife.
Smith went on to say in subsequent posts on Wednesday he "never beat my wife" that Ohio State "botched" their investigation and that he believed the University Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer forced himself after three game blocks to excuse.
Let's talk FACTS since so many people (mainly fans of the opposing fans) want to talk.
. 1My children suffer because of all this (most importantly)
2. I never beat my wife
3. OSU botched the investigation and worsened the "punishment"

4. You forced @OSUCoachMeyer to testify, at least I hope … because he knows what's real and never apologizes.
5. President Drake is either the cause of the joke of "investigation" or "punishment" or he has allowed it.

Meyer was suspended on August 23. After a two-week investigation, he found that he abused Smith's allegations against house arrests and in July public statement misrepresented what he knew about the situation.
Meyer was suspended without pay and until Sept. 2. He may return to the team at this time, but he will not be able to train against Oregon State, Rutgers and TCU # 16.
Ohio State's former offensive coordinator and current Texas head coach Tom Herman were the other assistant with former Buckeyes Wide Receivers coach Zach Smith on a 2014 strip club trip that included high school coaches.
Athletic Director Gene Smith was also suspended without pay for more than two weeks.
Ohio State Places Meyer on Paid Admi On August 1, just after Courtney Smith said in an interview with Stadium that she had believed Meyer and others in the football program, she knew her ex-husband abused her in 2015 and did nothing to stop her. Meyer fired Zach Smith on July 23 after a pattern of past allegations of abuse in a Facebook post by reporter Brett McMurphy came to light.
Meyer initially said that he had never been aware of any domestic issues between the Smiths. Zach Smith was a Ohio State coach. He returned shortly after he had taken a vacation and instead said that he had answered incorrectly when he first answered questions about Smith and that he followed the 2015 protocol.
Smith tweeted on Wednesday that "the truth will come over his" Ex-wife allegations
Zach Smith was arrested in 2009 on suspicion of domestic violence when he worked as an assistant at Meyers staff at the University of Florida. He was not charged with a crime. Meyer said he was aware of the incident, and he advised the Smiths to seek advice at the time.
Smith was also arrested for drunk driving in 2013 and pleaded guilty to lesser charges. He said he had not told Meyer about the arrest.
Meyer said he recently decided to fire Zach Smith last month when he learned that Smith did not tell him about a crime committed in May and a restraining order from an Ohio judge in July. Both incidents are ongoing legal issues.
