HONOLULU, Hi. – A memorial service in Hawaii for Beth Chapman, the reality TV show of "Dog the Bounty Hunter," will include a prayer session followed by family and friends paddling in the ocean.
Chapman died Wednesday after a fight against cancer. She was 51 years old.
Chapman and her husband Duane "Dog" Chapman played in the A & E show until it was canceled in 2012. They later played in "Dog & Beth: On the Hunt" by Country Music Television.
WGN America is in production on "Dog's Most Wanted". A trailer for the show was released earlier this month.
According to the Mona Wood-Sword family spokesperson, those attending Waikiki on Saturday will bring "ocean-friendly loose flowers," but no lei, because the line is not suitable for the underwater world.
In Colorado, where Beth Chapman was born, a memorial service is planned. All rights reserved.
