The conviction of Felicity Huffman gives prosecutors a significant benefit by seeking imprisonment for other historically accused parents.

Felicity Huffman was not received warmly in the Emmys.

The award-winning Emmy actress, sentenced to 14 days in jail for her involvement in the college admissions scandal, was murdered at the Primetime Emmy Awards at the Microsoft Theater Sunday in Los Angeles.

After moderating RuPaul's "RuPaul's Drag Race" and winning a statuette for the "Outstanding Competition" program, comedian Thomas Lennon, who made comments all night, gave one Fire off.

"Producers have asked me to give a special thank you to one of our former leading ladies watching out of prison tonight," Lennon said with a grin as the star-studded audience burst into laughter. "Hopefully these two weeks will pass quickly, keep your chin up."

Although Lennon Huffman was not named, the list of Emmy-winning actresses sentenced to a two-week jail term is quite short, and social media users have the goal of the joke right away recognized.

"I yell at this commentator who is dragging Felicity Huffman & # 39; … to all the actresses watching out of jail, these two weeks are flying by," @TanujaAnne tweeted while @Jeffurry312 added that Lennon's "Felicity Huffman joke was murderous".

Huffman won an Emmy for Outstanding Actress in a comedy series in 2005 for her role as Lynette Scavo in "Desperate Housewives."

In addition to the jail sentence, a federal judge sentenced Huffman to a $ 30,000 regulatory fine for one year and 250 hours of community service to pay $ 15,000 for someone to properly pass his oldest daughter Sophia's SAT exam.

In a prepared statement, Huffman said, "I fully accept the court's decision today, and I have always been prepared to accept the sentence imposed by Judge Talwani."

In May, she pleaded guilty to the conspiracy to commit an e-mail scam and honest mail fraud.
