As soon as the President left Air Force One to bask in the afterglow of confirmation from Robert Mueller's report, he exclaimed, "After a long investigation, after so many people were so badly injured after they did not wake up On the other hand, where many bad things have happened, a lot of horrible things have happened, there are many bad things happening for our country. It was just announced that there were no collusion with Russia, the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. "
In other words, if it was a real witch hunt, why would Trump care about what Mueller said? Was not the president relieved first? Why does he need Müller's sanction? If the president really believed that he had done nothing wrong before the election campaign and after his election, why was he so nervous that the report would become a bomb? If there was nothing to hide, what is so important in the end to Müller's work?
If Trump obstructs justice, what are we talking about when we use that term? Would you like to know if Trump has obstructed the judiciary? Ask Muslims who are temporarily not allowed to travel to their home country, work or university because of their religious beliefs.
Ask the 12-year-old Guatemalan girl, who was imprisoned by her mother, to camp for months just because she wanted to escape being raped and being forced into a gang. Do you think that she believes that a hindrance to justice has taken place under Trump's watch?
What about the families of soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq? Do you think they believed the judiciary had been obstructed when the POTUS slandered and scolded dead soldiers? Do you think Mr. Khan believed that justice was obstructed when Trump questioned his son's loyalty to the United States?
Do you think that the family of Otto Warmbier believes that justice has been obstructed by a president who is unwilling to say so? The North Korean dictator was responsible for the murder of his son?
How about the countless victims of the Putin regime? Do you think that the journalists who were poisoned on Putin's orders were killed by someone who complied with international standards of justice?
Ask a transgender soldier or a police officer if he believes that justice has been obstructed if treated as a second-class citizen. Did not they risk their lives to defend Americans every day?
Or what about the women Trump paid to sleep with? How about all these sexual encounters that caused Trump to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars silencing her? Was the judiciary hindered when these women threatened their careers and even their lives with Trump's personal fixer Michael Cohen?
I do not think we need Mueller's Special Counsel report to know that barring children in cages is hardly an act of justice
Ask Charlottesville victim Heather Hyer if justice has been obstructed when the president granted protection to white supremacist hate groups.
Ask these victims of the Christ Church Church massacres when white nationalism is on the rise. To say that this is not an act of obstruction of justice.
No, we do not need Müller to tell us that Trump has hindered justice. Trump himself is an obstacle to justice. Everything he stands for and America brings is an obstacle to justice.
