First hands-on Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro videos are shown online

The first orders for Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro have been received early by some customers, and some have posted practical videos online.

So far, seven videos by two ‌iPad Pro‌ users have appeared online, which offer a first glimpse into the new Magic keyboard for ‌iPad Pro‌.

The first video was released in Thai and showed the unboxing experience of the Magic Keyboard. Other videos by the same user looked at the USB-C port on the hinge of the Magic keyboard used for pass-through charging and the brightness of the illuminated buttons.

Since then, YouTube user MrExitStrategy has published four videos in English that cover many of the new key features. The first shows the hinge system of the case, which offers a “floating”

; cantilever design for smooth viewing angle adjustments up to 130 degrees.

A look at the settings area of the Magic keyboard in the Settings app shows that the brightness of the keyboard’s backlight can be changed manually or automatically adapted to the ambient light conditions.

The latest video offers a more detailed comparison of the Magic keyboard with the Smart Folio keyboard and shows some of the new trackpad gestures in iPadOS 13.4. This video suggests that the trackpad uses mechanical click rather than haptic feedback. The cantilevered design has been tested for stability, also for use with Apple Pencil.

The Magic Keyboard and the new iPhone SE were ordered online earlier this week, and most deliveries are expected to arrive next week.
