A tornado clock that was valid on Saturday for all of southern New Jersey has been canceled.
The watch, which was in operation, was replaced by a flood report in the districts of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem, reports the National Weather Service.
The thunderstorms that flew through the central and southern parts of New Jersey on Saturday night have gone to sea and left Storm Team 4 with lasting showers that will last until Sunday morning.
The National Weather Service is issuing a tornado watch for severe thunderstorms and tornadoes in or near the area, according to its website. A Tornadowarnung is issued when a tornado "imminent"
