A Florida woman pulled an alligator out of her pants on a traffic stop on Monday – a strange move that may well be on the state's rare reported crime list.
25-year-old Ariel Machan-Le Quire, 25, was in the passenger seat of a vehicle at around 3:30 in Punta Gorda when she was run over, the Miami Herald reported, citing an interim report from the Charlotte County Sheriff & # 39; ; s office.
The department said the woman was asked if she had anything left in the vehicle, and then went on to "take an alligator out of her yoga pants (about a foot in the Length) put it in the back of the truck.
Machan-Le Quire and 22-year-old driver Michael Clemons claimed they were trying to collect wildlife under an overpass, and investigators said the woman also had 41 small turtles in a backpack.
