Tucker Carlson has beaten those who fear the recent gas attack on Syrian civilians A Call to Declare War on Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad
Carlson said "talk show generals" and warhawk politicians like Senator Lindsey Graham (RS.C.) have "no real idea what happened" He said that both Assad forces and those who oppose him have the ability to use sarin, as used in a 2017 attack, or chlorine gas used at the weekend.
Carlson noted shortly before the attack President Donald Trump said he would want to see an end to American involvement in Syria.
"How would [gassing civilians] benefit Assad?" Carlson asked, immediately calling for an answer "Foreign Policy through Viral Video".
He said observers had told "the same story as last April" after the sarin attack.
He noted that he does not defend Assad or the "rebels" in the region, but simply ask why so many people jump to conclusions.
Carlson said America's government should do more to secure its own border than a nation 6000 miles away
"It's complicated in Syria," Wicker said.
"For my purposes, I am convinced that Bashar Assad was heavily involved in the attack a year ago," he added.
Then Carlson challenged Wicker to work.
