According to TMZ's complaint, Kanye was not the only celebrity Yusef had promised to deliver … he also claimed that Pharrell, Jaden Smith and others would help with the project.
GM says Yusef's fraud was costly and extended over 9 months. It contained fake Kanye signatures and false interventions that looked like they had been sent by real talent agencies.
The lawsuit alleges that GM was suspicious of Yusef's plan when he finally submitted a video to them in February 2019 that barely reflected any of the brand's aspirations. In the credits was allegedly that both Kanye and Pharrell wrote and produced the music.
That's not true. Kanye is not involved and did not produce this song. https://t.co/Y2PcdK9uV9

Gentle Monster released the project to acknowledge Kanye's commitment, and to the horror of the mark tweeted Kim Kardashian that her husband had nothing to do had to do with it … GM caused the video to pull.
This is not the first time Yusef has used Kanye's name for personal gain. It was in February when he allegedly faked Kanye's signature to perform on Philipp Plein's NYFW show. The performance never took place and Yusef set off with a ton of money, which he later returned.
