Some former members of the New England Patriots come in defense of Julian Edelman after Shannon Sharpe claims that the broad receiver is a "dirty player".
Edelman was fined this week for a total of three different cases with $ 63.504 during the game last Sunday against Buffalo Bills, which was the second-most-ranked player by the NFL during a single game this season for incidents on the pitch was docked.
The three fines were unnecessary rudeness – as Edelman blocked a Bills player after serving for a fair (which he did well in the 8th week against Buffalo) and two unsolicited crackbacks Blocks had signaled.

"When you are small and white, you are labeled grainy, hard ed ed, tough," wrote Sharpe. "No, he's dirty."
Julian Edelman was fined over $ 63,000 this past Sunday for three separate unnecessary penalties against Buffalo. I have said so many times for you. He is a dirty player. If you are small and white, you will be labeled, hard-nosed and hard. No, he is dirty.

The former Denver Bronco went to to compare Edelman's reputation with other black NFL players This has been described as dirty, such as Ndamukong Suh, Vontaze Burfict and Hines Ward.
Donté Stallworth, a retired NFL wide receiver who played just over a season for the Patriots, responded that he agreed there was a double standard black and white players were widely perceived, but said he was not with the assertion, Edelman was dirty.
Stallworth said the Edelman is just a "rare" broad receiver who is "not afraid to confuse" with defensive players.
"A dirty player in my definition is someone who deliberately tries to hurt / hurt other players," he said. "That's not Julian."
I'll clarify and say that I do not think Jules is a dirty player. He is not. He is just a * rare * WR who is not afraid to confuse him with DBs or other people. Jules does not want that smoke like other WRs! As Khaleesi said, "I respect that."

I agree with this: "When you are small and white, you become stubborn, persistent. "But I do not agree that he is a dirty player. A dirty player in my definition is someone who deliberately tries to hurt other players. That's not Julian. https://t.co/5jiqT5PqAW[19659002-DontéStallworth(@DonteStallworth) December 30, 2018 Sharpe said that Edelman's repeated kickbacks were suggested differently. However, Stallworth published a video of one of the blocks for which Edelman imposed a fine and asked if he really deserved a fine.
Sharpe's comments also caught the attention of Matt Chatham, a former Patriots defender and special team player who now works for The Athletic and 98.5 The Sports Hub. In his defense of Edelman's playing style, Chatham forced Sharpe to avoid contact, prompting the confrontation between the two former adversaries to become personal.
tweeted at Sharpe. "They would not understand. That you have resorted to a weak, terrible analysis … very understandable. "
He takes passports but enjoys the physical part of the game … seeks contact. They have caught a ton of balls, but shy the contact. They would not understand. That you fall back on a weak, terrible analysis … very understandable. https://t.co/kbbYp5aB30[19659002-MattChatham(@chatham58) December 30, 2018
In response, Sharpe Chatham called a "JAG" (one man only) and told him to "sit down." "this out out.

"Only one special team from LB you did not want to part of [field]," Chatham replied, recalling a meeting between the two players in a game Sharpe "screamed for help throughout the ride."
I am a "JAG". Only a special team of LB, from which you did not want to have any part of the field. You do not have to remember that, I do. She yelled at the ref for help throughout the ride. Her voice became octave higher. I have seldom heard the voice of another man. He laughed at you. I laughed at you. However, Sharpe seemed to find the last word, noting that he "graduated from special teams. "
