Nigel Bradham confirmed the lock on his personal Twitter account account.
I'd like to apologize to my fans, coaches, teammates, and the entire Eagles organization for the 1-game suspension. This comes from an incident in July 2016 and the matter is now resolved. I'm looking forward to giving her the whole season and helping the team win another championship

In 2016, Bradham faced complicated battery charges with an incident in a hotel room in South Florida over the summer.
The Philadelphia Eagles have joined Twitter to announce their official statement.
"Nigel has taken responsibility and explained to us through his words and deeds that he has learned from his mistake. We will continue to assist him in the process."

The Wakulla native began 15 games for the defending champion last year, taking 88 tackles (67 solo takedowns), an interception, a sack and a forced fumble.
Bradham will miss the Eagles' opening match against the Atlanta Falcons, marking the start of the NFL season on September 6.
