Former Wakulla High School and Florida State player and current Philadelphia Eagle, Nigel Bradham was suspended for the first game of the 2018 NFL season, according to several reports.

Nigel Bradham confirmed the lock on his personal Twitter account account.

In 2016, Bradham faced complicated battery charges with an incident in a hotel room in South Florida over the summer.

The Philadelphia Eagles have joined Twitter to announce their official statement.

The Wakulla native began 15 games for the defending champion last year, taking 88 tackles (67 solo takedowns), an interception, a sack and a forced fumble.

Bradham will miss the Eagles' opening match against the Atlanta Falcons, marking the start of the NFL season on September 6.
