Matt Cappotelli Dies Early Friday Morning
The winner of Tough Enough Season Three and former WWE wrestler Matt Cappotelli has died following a long battle with cancer. He had a brain tumor removed in 2007, but had a second surgery last year when the tumor returned. The entire tumor could not be removed, and then in May, his wife informed the public that his condition had worsened.
Cappotelli died on Friday morning at the age of 38 years.
Cappotelli's wife brought the following to the Team Capp Facebook group
Hey Team Capp … I fought with what I say and how to say it, and I'll probably go into the end, but here fine. Today, my love ̵1; my strong, sweet, beautiful love – took its last breath at 3:30 am and went home to be with Jesus … exactly one year after his brain operation. You think you can be prepared for it, if you know it's coming, but you just can not. The only person who is consolation that I want now is the one who can not give it to me. I miss him so much. I know where he is now is so much better, but it does not change how much I miss him.
Fightful Wrestling wishes to extend its condolences to Matt Cappotelli's family and friends.
