Epic Games released the latest patch notes on Fortnite's 3.6 update, released today, featuring new weapons and bug fixes for the Battle Royale and Save the World modes. These sticky grenades can be attached to any surface or any player and detonate after a few seconds. The new explosive devices can not explode while they are in the air. While similar to the faraway explosives, they now have a lesser chance of appearing in treasure chests.
Another weapon added to Save the World is the Noble Launcher, a heavy weapon that fires "a wave piercing energy" after charging. The cooperative mode also received adjustments for salvaging the drone missions, increasing the amount of bacon found and adapted energy ammunition to be more available when manufactured or dropped in the world.
In addition, the Minigun of the Battle Royale has been increased and better stability, while the scoring for sniper rifles and crossbows is improved. The Builder Pro control scheme also had some issues, including "causing the player's weapons to be automatically triggered after a structure has been placed and changed to a weapon" and "where the primary fire can be interrupted by placing targets down ". The time mode, which was introduced last week in the 3.5 update, has not been removed with the new patch.
The biggest change in Fortnite's 3.6 update allows players to refund their cosmetics purchases to V-Bucks. Only back bling, emotes, gliders, harvesters, and outfits can be refunded, while Epic grants players up to three returns for the lifetime of that account. This should help those who have accidentally purchased items while browsing the Battle Royale Store Tab.
