I Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 9, Week 8: Visit several clocks on the map as part of a new challenge that was unlocked on Thursday morning. The challenge is that players "visit different clocks". Seems easy enough, right?
The Tilted Towers bell tower could immediately come to mind, but now that this target has been converted to Neo Tilted at the beginning of Season 9, it is so different.
Here players can visit Watches in Fortnite for the eighth week challenge: Junk Junction, Neo Tilted and Happy Hamlet each have a kind of clock. There is also the surprising addition of the sundial Sunny Steps.
Updated reference : Although the clock in Happy Hamlet is the only traditional clock tower, it does not count for this challenge. If this is a breakdown, please be aware that Epic Games has granted the entire company two weeks (ha ha ha) of holiday time between June 24th and July 8th, so this is likely to be resolved after July 8th.
There is no particular order in which players need to watch these watches, but with the current error in Happy Hamlet, it is better to wait for that goal than to visit the other two first.
The Junk Junction is a clock tower built in the southwest corner of the area, just inside the outer wall. If you land on or near the tower, you will receive a credit. If players feel ambitious, they can land at this time before heading straight east to the Grassland Racecourse. From there it is possible to take a quadcrasher or a driftboard with which you can travel south.
Over in Neo Tilted the Holo Clock Tower, which is part of the Utopia of Fortbyte # 2 and Week 4, serves as a valid "clock" screen, even if it is digital. Reaching the base of the tower should provide credit, but often it becomes impossible to obtain credit if enemy players destroy the actual tower and the clock.
The Hamlet of Happy Hamlet is in the middle of the area and can not be overlooked, as it is the tallest building in the area. However, at the moment this challenge will not be recognized if you land on or near it. It probably happens a kind of glitch.
Instead, go to the center of Sunny Steps where the sundial counts as a clock leading you to the end of this challenge. According to the countdown in the game, the ninth season ends on July 23rd. So less than a month stays in the squadron before there are any changes that will take us into the tenth season.
