Fortnite Season 4 Battle Pass Theme looks like a superhero

The next season of Fortnite: Battle Royale is just around the corner. With the last three Season 3 challenges now live and the next component of the Meteor mystery seemingly live, Epic Games has released a new teaser image for the fourth season – and it could be superhero themes. [ Update: A new version of the Season 4 image has been released.]

Epic shared the image below on Twitter, along with the text "Battle. Adapt. Win Season 4 coming soon." The same image on the Fortnite website is from the words "Brace for impact!" The image itself shows something that looks like a superhero, which can give an indication of what new skins and cosmetics are to be expected on the Season 4 Battle Pass. The Season 3 skins are mostly space issues, which is related to the ongoing speculation of meteor and alien. With Avengers: Infinity War Epic is just reaching the cinema, hoping to capitalize on the superhero buzz.

A Season 4 start date has not yet been announced, but Season 3 is set to hit on May 3. It's unclear if Season 4 is about to start, but you can expect to have a Battle Pass for sale there. Epic was going to sell Season 3 for real money, but eventually decided to only sell it for V-Bucks, a game currency.

We still do not know what to make of Battle Royales Meteor. Players have repeatedly expected to crash in Tilted Towers, except nothing happens ̵

1; something that Epic has even confirmed with a recent Tilted Towers update.

Shooting stars now populate the sky, and the game has seen the addition of a bar and a picture seen on TV sets in-game, signaling in turn that something is imminent. Players think they have found something that looks like UFOs in the sky next to the meteor, and the game's files apparently have sound effects for the meteor to finally crash.

Maybe come aliens and superheroes have to face them. Maybe the meteor is somehow the super hero pictured above. Earlier speculation suggested that all this could be related to Fortnite's original Save the World PvE component, which would end early access. However, Season 4 will start soon – and in the meantime, meteors are starting to beat.
