At one of Fortnite's biggest in-game event ever, Epic let players choose which weapon they wanted to bring from the vault. But that was not the only change that happened. The volcano, which first appeared at the beginning of the 8th season, also broke out and caused mischief on the map, especially at some of its largest and most popular locations.
The outbreak started immediately after the players left the vault in the center of Loot Lake. The initial explosion was strong enough to cover the entire map in the dark, but it was not until it started to throw molten stones that the players realized how destructive the outburst would be.
The first stone flew in the direction of the Polar Peak Mountain, shattering it and causing a huge leap. After that, the stones flew out in quick succession, some towards Retail Row and smashed the parking lot. However, the largest collection of molten volcanic fragments flew directly to the Tilted Towers, one of the Fortnite largest and best-known locations. The rocks almost leveled the city. The only thing left is the building that made Epic funny by destroying past seasons.
The destruction of tilted towers is a monumental event in Fortnite . Not only because it's one of the most popular places in the game, but also because the players have been predicting it for so long. The first time that rumors were talked about the destruction of Tilted was in the third season just over a year ago. Now that the city is finally destroyed, Epic has a chance to rebuild the city with the changes it wants to make or mark something new there over the next season mark its end. This event, however, was bigger than any we've seen so far to bring back the drum cannon as well as destroy at least two places. The official end of Season 8 will take place later this week on Wednesday, so you'll have to explore the world by then before the Season 9 changes occur, probably on Thursday.
