The survey found that Trump's disapproval has risen by 5 percentage points since last month. According to Fox News, his refusal was higher only when it reached 57 percent in October 201
Forty-three percent of respondents said they approved Trump's work, compared to 46 percent in the previous month. The record low for Trump's approval in the Fox News poll is also 38 percent from October 2017.
Trump rejects a record 53 percent of men, white men 46 percent and independents 64 percent. according to the survey.
The surveyed researchers interviewed 1,013 registered voters nationwide from 11 to 13 August. The results have an error rate of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
The poll comes after two mass shootings earlier this month during a tense political moment, one of which was apparently racially motivated.
The approval rate for Trump's response to the incident is only 37 percent, and 46 percent said his government made the country less secure from mass shootings.
Fifty-nine percent of voters say they are dissatisfied with the country's development.
The same proportion indicates that the president "tears the country apart," compared to just 31 percent, who say he "pulls the country together." Two years ago, these figures were 56 percent and 33 percent, respectively.
