A Pennsylvania mother of two 11-year-old twin girls died this week in what the authorities said was a crazy accident.
Amrita Dey was in a hurry to bring her daughters to school, as an investigator said her foot slipped. A pedal as she got out of her vehicle, reported Pittsburgh's WPXI-TV. The car was in the back, causing Dey to be underwent, the report said.
News of Dey's death shook the community of South Fayette Township, about 16.5 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
"It has been a ray of sunshine, breathing fresh air, always taking care of the children and treating them as if they were their own," said Tom Kaminski, director of the South Fayette Intermediate School.
Dey, who was an adjutant at the school, was dubbed a super mom by the faculty. The school district brought in counselors to help students cope with the heartbreaking tragedy, the station reported.
As of Thursday, a GoFundMe site designed to help Dey at the funeral surpassed her $ 50,000 target.
