Odell Beckham's seething remarks after defeating the Patriots on Sunday did not go unnoticed by Brown coach Freddie Kitchens.
Following New England's 27-13 win over Cleveland, the lightning rod was of the opinion that the team had "shied away" by the provocative Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore.
"Odell had seven balls tossed" Kitchens said about Pro Football Talk, "He caught five of them, I do not answer, we need to win a football game, that's what I'm worried about."
The off-season buzz about the New -Look Browns with Beckham aboard quickly disbanded and Beckham, who had been the Cleveland Giants in March, had five receptions for 52 yards, totaling 488 yards in his season.
As we said before, " Beckham said on Sunday, "Apart from whatever came to me, I've pretty much caught everything, whatever options I've had, I've made the best of it, you can only control what you can control." [1
"Begin with me first of all. I have to be a leader in every defeat. Make sure we're ready and watch out, because if we can not use the cadence, we hurt ourselves, "said quarterback Baker Mayfield.
"The consistency, the lack of discipline and the responsibility on Sunday seem to be a problem right now," he continued.
The 2-5 Browns, currently in third place at AFC North, will have the chance to host the ship against the Broncos on Sunday.
