The song thrives on a psycho-pop sunburst that, despite all likelihood, suggests that anything is possible, thanks in part to the up-and-coming cork-pulling bass line of legendary session musician Herbie Flowers.

(I'll reconsider Walker's mid-seventies LPs of cover-heavy MOR pop, because I did not hear them, and they're – as I've heard from respected observers – rightly not pamphletecked and worth the effort At some point I am motivated to hear and blow away these alleged aberrations, but that seems unlikely.)

After a long break, Walker returned with 1984 Climate of Hunter ] an elusive collection of art songs that Many were astonished at their release and had a strange collection of guest musicians: Ray Russell, Mark Knopfler, Evan Parker, Billy Ocean and others. The worlds he has created will always resonate deep within me as I sit and make music. He was an amazing poet, conceptualist, producer and musician. We're losing some of the last great sources of magic these days and today I feel like it's a family and it hurts. Rest in peace Scott Walker.
