Samsung announced the mass production of the world's most powerful 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM chips with the highest storage capacity which is optimized for the premium smartphones of tomorrow. I know what you're thinking: Does the Galaxy S10 Plus not have 12GB of RAM? Yes, but storage in this outmoded model is blown away by Samsung's new chips.

While the memory of the Galaxy S10 Plus is manufactured at 20 nm, Samsung's new chips are being mass-produced at just 10 nm. Samsung states that this makes them much more energy efficient and – at just 1.1mm thick – much smaller, saving space (read: larger battery). In addition, Samsung revealed that the module can be operated with more than five cameras, larger screens and 5G devices.

Surprise, surprise, the Galaxy Note 10 will have a total of six cameras, a magnified screen and 5G .

The first devices with the new modules will be Samsung Galaxy S10 5G Edition and Galaxy Fold, which will be released in the coming months. Both phones, however, are manufactured in small capacities and cost almost $ 2,000. You are not a starter for the vast majority of buyers.

What makes the Galaxy Note 10 the real game changer. Samsung claims it will "triple" the supply of new chips "during the second half of the year 2019", when economies of scale are perfectly used for the August release of the Galaxy Note 10.

And the new store is only part of two knock-out stamps for the note. Samsung will also equip this phone with UFS 3.0, which is twice as fast and more efficient than the Galaxy S10 Series UFS 2.1 (which was already introduced with the Galaxy S8). This creates a killer combination, as promoted by Samsung itself:

"With the mass production of the new LPDDR4X, Samsung now offers a full range of state-of-the-art memory for the new era of smartphones – from mobile 12GB DRAM up to 512 GB-EUFS 3.0 storage, "said Sewon Chun, executive vice president of Samsung Storage Marketing.

All this helps the Galaxy S10 feel old less than a week after its release. With their 10th anniversary status and dramatic redesign, it seems that the weird Samsung is eliminating both next-generation chips and launching them almost immediately thereafter.

This means that the Galaxy Note 10 is in the best position to be Samsung's best ( and best looking ) smartphone of 2019. It's a breeze.
