The Garmin Vivosmart 4 was presented today at the IFA 2018 in several colors. This wearable sports and fitness band tracks user activity in a way that goes far beyond its predecessor, and is ready to roll in a high-style fashion. This version of the Vivosmart is water-resistant (for swimming and showering etc.) and has a battery life of "up to 7 days" – provided you do not use all 7 days of the full-pulse box. The Vivosmart 4 comes with activity timers for weight training, walks, jogging, swimming, yoga and more – all via the Garmin app on the user's smartphone. This device has vibration alerts for notifications (calls, texts, etc.). For Android devices, Vivosmart 4 can also send text responses directly from the device screen.
Several monitoring tools have been announced for the Vivosmart 4, all aboard: Stress Tracking (probably with heart rate monitoring), heart rate monitoring and a relaxation breath timer included. This device features VO2 max, Body Battery power monitor and a Pulsox2 sensor.
Garmin's Vivosmart 4 was revealed with "advanced sleep monitoring with REM sleep" and is designed to measure blood oxygen saturation with its Pulse Ox2 sensor. Because the Vivosmart 4 is relatively small, it is far less intrusive for sleep than a fat, fat smartwatch – many of them are now committed to sleep activities.
This latest version of Garmin's Activity Tracking Bracelet has been unveiled and released this morning. The Garmin Vivosmart 4 is available in four different color combinations. Black with Midnight Hardware, Azure Blue with Silver Hardware, Berry with Light Gold Hardware and Gray with Rose Gold Hardware are all in the Startset.
All four color combinations are available in "Small / Medium", while the "Large" band is only available in "Black with Midnight Hardware" colors. All versions of the Garmin Vivosmart 4 are available for about $ 130 USD this minute via dot garmin dot com. The shipping is currently at "3-5 weeks" – so it's as if it was on pre-order, only … not.
