Reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is a playful decision for Game 5 of the Milwaukee Bucks-Miami Heat series on Tuesday night. The Bucks superstar injured his right ankle again in Game 4, which he twisted in Game 3, and did not return. However, Milwaukee kept its season alive after taking a 1

18-115 overtime win in Game 4 on Sunday, despite playing the final three quarters and overtime without Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo struggled to get back into Game 4, according to multiple reports, but was ultimately overridden. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, he was unable to sprain or jump off the sprain. But the superstar was able to take part in what the bucks did on the pitch on Monday. When he got to the arena prior to Bucks warming up for the Tuesday night game, he was wearing a boot on his right foot but did not hobble too much when walking.

Antetokounmpo sprained his ankle when he fouled a drive early in the second quarter. He let out an audible scream and stayed on the floor for a few minutes before being helped onto the bench.

He was able to take his free throws which would have allowed him to return, but the Bucks ruled out their superstar for the remainder of the game just after the whistle at halftime. He finished the race with 19 points and four rebounds in 11 minutes – and ended up with more points than Jimmy Butler, despite playing 27 minutes less.

However, behind Khris Middleton’s 36-point performance, the Bucks managed to win the game and prevent elimination. However, Milwaukee will be eliminated again in Game 5 and would do better against Miami with their best player on the floor, but only if he is 100 percent healthy. No NBA team has ever come back to win a playoff series after trailing 3-0, and if Milwaukee is to be the first team to do so, Giannis will have to be on the floor to achieve it.
