The Girls Frontline English Twitter today announced that its collaboration with VA-11 Hall-A the Jill, Alma and Stella added as playable limited units will begin in August 2019.
Here's a look at Jill from a recent livestream [Thanks @ yung2333 on Twitter!]:
In Related News ] VA-11 Hall A recently appeared on PS4 and Switch, and Sukeban Games talked about how Jill became protagonist of the game:
During the production of VA-11 Hall-A In the Prologue demo of we played along the idea that the protagonist has no name and is only referred to as a "bartender" to make it an unspoken self-employment for the player. This idea would have made the game more like one of our original inspirations. In Araki Joh's manga " Bartender ", the titular bartender is for the most part mysterious and unrecorded and simply serves as vehicle for the stories in the bar.
Despite the development of the game, however, we have decided to make a jump in another direction. What if the main character created an atmosphere like a mysterious bartender … but in reality was anything but? Not only that, with the scope we wanted to keep – one in which the player only interacts with the world by serving drinks – we thought our audience would benefit more from interacting with a protagonist whose character is firmly established is.
describe Jill as a character, she is a loner version of me (or indeed a self-deprecating image of me that keeps following me). Many elements in Jill's story refer to elements in my own life to make their whole story more familiar and down to earth. Things like growing up without friends, staying home with her grandfather, and so on.
Girls Frontline is available for Android and iOS. VA-11 Hall-A is available on PC, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
