Giuliani says Mueller probe is "manipulated", focusing on things that have not happened

President Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani said on Sunday that Special Adviser Robert Müller's investigation of collusion in Russia was "manipulated" and investigators focused on "things that did not happen."

"Let's clarify the facts, do it," Giuliani said on Fox News Sunday.

Trump seems increasingly frustrated with the investigation – which he routinely calls a "witch hunt" – as the probe reaches into a second year and interferes with its administration

Giuliani was hired in recent weeks to investigate the investigation End and maybe arrange an interview between Trump and Mueller as a last step.

However, he and other members of Trump's legal group were cautious about allowing Trump to speak, fearing federal investigators might try to set a legal trap.

"We will not sit him down if there is a trap of perjury," Giuliani said Sunday. "He wants to explain that he did not do anything wrong."

Trump has said time and again that he did not interfere with Russia to influence the 201

6 presidential election. And he argued that the investigation went beyond their original intent to include the business relations of the President's business partners.

"That's manipulated, you have 13 Democrats, no collusion," said Giuliani. "They focus on things that have not happened."

He also said that the president would "not dismiss anyone" because it would make him look like a victim.

Giuliani also said that the former government should do this "I informed Trump that during the 2016 race in Russia it intervened and monitored its campaign."

"Some of it is Mueller's fault (but) it completely nullifies his investigation," said Giuliani. "The whole thing with this investigation, which we considered espionage, was done before Mueller interfered, but it completely destroys his investigation."
