Google terminates the test program of a service that has sent prints selected by the user from its algorithm from its Google Photos libraries. Droid life reported. The subscription-based service was launched in February in the United States with a $ 7.99 monthly fee that gives you 10 4×6 prints from the past 30 days.
The print service allowed users to choose which topics the service should prioritize when choosing prints, and to offer options such as “People and Pets”, “Landscapes” and “A bit of everything”. Users could edit the selection before the photos were printed.
Google has informed subscribers that the service will no longer be available after June 30th Droid life::
Thank you for your valuable feedback in the past few months. They have provided us with a lot of helpful information on how we can further develop this function, which we hope we have spread. Please keep your eyes open for future updates.
Although we will finish the testing program, we hope you enjoy the prints you received along the way.
It is not clear when or whether Google will restart this service on a larger scale in the future or whether it will be suspended indefinitely. We contacted Google for more information.
