Google's Pixel 4 was launched yesterday, but the phone will be delivered to customers after about a week. Today, Google sends invitations to some customers for a "special pixel event".
Nomad Case for Pixel 3
These invitations to events are received via email from some of Google's "biggest fans", presumably those who bought multiple generations of pixels on the same account. I have bought all five Pixel devices through the Google Store and can therefore be considered part of this group.
The email states that Google is hosting this pixel event on October 21 at its headquarters in Mountain View, California. It is a bit strange that Google gives such a limited warning for the event, but invitees must confirm their participation before 17 October.
The Pixel Event takes place from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and Google mentions both breakfast and lunch as part of the event. The invitation also explains that attendees will be able to "experience Pixel 4" and meet the team that helped shape it.
There is a Mention for It A group attending the event will "help improve the impact of our next product generation," says the Pixel Team apparently looking for feedback from longtime customers.
You are invited exclusively to a special pixel event. Experience the new Pixel 4, get to know the people behind it, and be part of our next product generation.
At the moment, we're not sure what's going on at this Google Pixel event. If you received the same invitation today, leave a comment and let us know if you will attend!
