Thanks to the high caliber people of XDA we get a look at something that Google seems to test on the Pixel Launcher of the standard Launcher app, Pixel Devices
Google apparently likes to compete with our search bar. If you remember, they recently put the word "search …" on the bar, which disheveled our feathers a bit. Thankfully, this change has been reversed. Now the company seems to divide the search bubble into two bubbles, making it a double bubble. You have the special bubble for text search and a separate balloon for voice search.
You can see this double-speech bubble in action from the images above and below, thanks to XDA member paphonb .
Again, this was only discovered by optimizing the code in the Pixel Launcher, which means that it is not confirmed that it will soon come to devices or if the Pixel 3 is announced later this year. After all, what we know, Google just tests the bill and not more. But it could also be something that will hit pixel devices, so I do not know, freak or jump for joy when you feel that way.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm all into this double bubble life. // XDA
