Google has this week decided to temporarily lower the prices of its unlocked smartphones Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, but only in some European markets. For example, in Germany people with a Pixel 3 or Pixel XL can now save € 250, while UK customers can save € 150 on both handsets. In the US, customers have to pay the full price for the two phones as Google sells unlocked Pixel 3 starting at $ 799 and unlocked Pixel 3 XL starting at $ 899 – just like the devices were released in October 2018 ,
Update : As of today, April 21, Google is also withdrawing the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in the US for $ 200 – see the official website of the Google Store. So you can buy an unlocked Pixel 3 from $ 599 or an unlocked Pixel 3 XL from $ 699. This offer is valid until 6th of May.
You can also save some money on Google's latest mobile phones if you choose to purchase from a third party. More specifically, B & H currently sells Pixel 3 from $ 699 ($ 100) and Pixel 3 XL from $ 729 ($ 170), including warranty. No matter where you buy your Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL, the smartphones are fully compatible with all relevant operators, including Verizon, AT & T, T-Mobile and Sprint.
Next month, Google will apparently publish a pixel 3a and a pixel 3a XL. These should be cheaper (and slightly less powerful) variants of the original Pixel 3 phones, and it is said that they will be available in prices starting at around 500.
