Google Offer: $ 50 Off Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL Smartphones

Dealmaster: Google's Pixel 3a phone is now priced at $ 350.

Ars Technica

Greetings, Arsians! The Dealmaster is back with another round of deals he can share. Today's list is led by a deal on Google's Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL phones whose unlocked models both save $ 50. That brings her to $ 349.99 or $ 429.99. While some retailers bundled the phones with $ 1

00 worth of gift cards when they first started, this is the largest direct discount we've seen so far for equipment in prestigious stores.

This is remarkable, since the pixel 3a already had a great value at its normal price. We've recommended it a few times in the past, but the important thing is that it provides you with most of the better features of full-fat Pixel 3 at half the original price. The camera is huge for a cell phone under 500 US dollars and can still compete with those of high-profile Android flagship. The OLED display is good for the money, it works with all major US carriers, and Android software and security updates will have top priority by May 2022, as Google's operating system is usually taken cleanly. It also has a headphone jack that the flagship does not have.

As with any affordable phone, there are trade-offs. The design here is comfortable, but mostly plastic, without compromising water resistance or wireless charging. The screen could be brighter and the speakers could be louder. The Snapdragon 670 chip and 4GB of RAM are strong enough to improve performance for most tasks – and the Dealmaster's personal Pixel 3a has performed well after five months – but it is clearly a waste of time from the top hardware. And the big elephant in the room is that Google will announce Pixel 4 next week, which could lead to pixel 3 sales. But right now, these shortcomings for $ 350 are not hard to miss, and that's still so fantastic value for money.

If you do not need a new Android phone, we also have deals for Beats – surprisingly excellent Powerbeats pro-earphones, a Nintendo Switch and Amazon gift card bundle, the Fire TV Stick 4K from Amazon and Gaming mice and keyboards and more. See for yourself.
