Google's new midrange smartphones are reportedly not labeled as Pixel 3 Lite and Lite XL. Instead, Google will burden these new devices with nonsensical names: Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL.
This is a new report from 9to5Google confirming a previous report from the same publication, which was a week ago. It cites a single source that is "familiar with the situation".
Oh, it's a fine situation.
"The upcoming middle Google Pixels are indeed referred to as" Google Pixel 3a "and as" Google Pixel "3a XL & # 39 ;, it says in the report. "We can also independently confirm a few previously complained specifications and offer more details about the devices."
This means the Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL have 5.6- and 6-inch displays, respectively, and these factors are very similar to those of their more expensive scholarship holders. They will come in both White and Just Black as well as a third color that is still a mystery. (I assume that is not pink.)
Each supports 18-watt quick-charging devices, Active Edge crushable pages, eSIM features, and Google's Titan security chipset. Each one comes with at least 64GB of memory.
9to5Google could not confirm some specifications, including the processor – supposedly a combination of a Snapdragon 670 and / or 710 – or the accumulators rumored to be at least 3000 mAh. Not a word about the timing – "this spring," according to a rumor, or the pricing, which in addition to their reliability was the Achilles heel of the Pixel lineup since its inception.
