Former bounty programmer architect and General Sourpuss Gregg Williams was asked Friday after the recent comments by Brown's recipient Odell Beckham Jr. He accused Williams of having instructed his players to injure Beckham during a game in 2017, when Beckham teamed with the Giants and Williams with the Browns. Williams denied the allegation, but could not resist digging multiple times at Beckham.
Williams led with an "Odell who?" When that came to complete silence – and seriously, nice work by everyone in the room to deny Williams himself a pity giggle – Williams got stuck in his greasy charmer long enough Mode to make a statement that he has "never done that where I was". This is a bold statement from a man who was once suspended indefinitely by the NFL for behavior. This has a detrimental effect on the league as it runs a bounty program called "Kill the Head" in New Orleans.
The best part of this is that Williams takes the opportunity to push back Beckham's gambling dynamics, like the big goat baby he is. It's probably way too late for Williams to grow up, but still, grow up!
