A Gresham woman who killed her husband by driving him over with a pickup and then lied to the investigators was sentenced to more than six years in prison on Friday.
A Judge Found Jennifer Lowery Guilty of Second-degree Manslaughter
Surveillance video showed that Lowery was evicted from a Gresham Bar parking lot in 2016 and then pushed back and run over her husband Mark.
She told police that someone else had hit him.
During her court appearance on Friday, Lowery made an emotional statement.
"That left a tear in my soul, I will miss my husband until the day I die," she said. "I never wanted to hurt him, it was a terrible accident."
Lowery was also convicted of drunken and reckless driving in connection with the case.
The prosecution sought a conviction for murder and life imprisonment.
